Subscription Terms

1. Subscription Overview

Brainfart offers premium subscriptions that unlock additional features and content to enhance your cognitive training experience. Our subscription plans include:

• Brainfart Premium Weekly: Access to all premium games, features, and content for one week
• Brainfart Premium Monthly: Access to all premium games, features, and content for one month
• Brainfart Premium Lifetime: Permanent access to all premium games, features, and content with one-time purchase

2. Premium Features

Premium subscriptions unlock the following exclusive features:

• Access to all 20+ memory training games (free version includes limited games)
• Unlimited daily brain scans and comprehensive cognitive assessments
• Advanced performance analytics and detailed progress insights
• Personalized game recommendations based on cognitive performance
• Achievement certificates and milestone tracking
• Progress sharing and family connectivity features
• Offline game downloads for uninterrupted training
• Ad-free experience across all games and features
• Priority customer support
• Early access to new games and features

3. Subscription Billing & Renewal

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription fees are charged in advance for the entire subscription period.

Price Changes: Subscription prices may change at any time. If prices increase, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new price will apply to your next billing cycle unless you cancel before the price change takes effect.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings:

• iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Brainfart → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → Brainfart → Cancel

Access After Cancellation: If you cancel, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free version with limited features.

Refunds: Refunds are handled through Apple App Store or Google Play according to their respective refund policies. We do not process direct refunds. Generally, no refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, but you may be eligible for a refund under certain circumstances as determined by Apple or Google.

5. Free Trial Terms

Trial Period: New users may be offered a free trial period (typically 3 days) to try premium features at no cost. The trial period begins when you first start your subscription.

Trial Cancellation: You may cancel your trial at any time during the trial period without being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the full subscription price.

Trial Eligibility: Free trials are typically limited to one per user and may not be available in all regions or to all users. Previous subscribers may not be eligible for additional free trials.

6. Changes to Subscription Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the subscription service or any part of it at any time with reasonable notice. We may also add, remove, or modify features included in premium subscriptions.

If we make material changes that reduce the value of your subscription, we will provide advance notice and may offer alternatives such as account credits or the option to cancel without penalty.

7. Family Sharing & Account Management

Family Sharing: Premium subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store may be shared with family members through Apple's Family Sharing feature, subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your account information secure. Do not share your account credentials with others.

Multiple Devices: Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google Account and can be used across multiple devices signed in to the same account.

8. Data & Privacy

Premium features may involve additional data collection to provide personalized recommendations and detailed analytics. All data collection and processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.

If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your progress data for a reasonable period in case you decide to resubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

10. Effective Date & Updates

These subscription terms are effective as of January 1, 2025. We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. We will notify users of material changes through the app or other appropriate means.

Your continued use of the subscription service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
